Clinics

We provide a specialty clinic each Friday as a way to alleviate long wait times as well as educate the next generation of surgeons specializing in oral and maxillofacial surgery. We also provide advanced head and neck cancer care through the Providence Oral, Head and Neck Cancer Clinic.

If you have specific questions or concerns about any of the clinics listed on the right, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at any time.

“I liked that they presented themselves as a team and that I was their number one concern. Although I will probably have a couple more operations and am not done with the process, I am so glad that it will be with the doctors and residents of HNSA.” – Dennis Destefano

Providence offers world-class care for patients with benign and malignant tumors of the oral cavity (mouth), tongue, pharynx (throat), larynx (voice box), nose, paranasal sinuses, salivary glands and thyroid gland, as well as tumors at the skull base. Our multidisciplinary treatment team of physicians, dentists, nurses, speech pathologists, audiologists, nutritionists and social workers are dedicated to the care of patients with oral, head and neck tumors. Together, we draw on our collective expertise to not just cure the cancer, but to also optimize the patient’s quality of life by normalizing their ability to speak, chew, and swallow.
Patients diagnosed with head or neck cancer are able to receive treatment in HNSA’s offices in Northwest Portland or at the Providence Cancer Center.

Trauma Clinic

Every Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., please call to schedule an appointment at 503-224-1371

Our Trauma Clinic serves as an outpatient follow-up for trauma injury patients who are seen at Legacy Emmanuel Hospital or referred to us for facial trauma evaluation. Please keep in mind that due to the high demand, these clinics can be very busy and delays do occur.

The Trauma Clinic also serves as a way for us to educate the next generation of surgeons. Patients are first evaluated by one of our surgical residents, and then evaluated again with one of our surgeons. These residents are licensed dentists and/or physicians who are seeking specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

If your trauma injury is work related and is being processed through workmen’s compensation, please allow for additional time as insurance verification may take longer.
